The Ichorian Epics
Era of Undying
January 19th, 2018
There hasn’t been a Blood Warrior for decades. Everyone assumed they were extinct and couldn’t return. Turns out they were just in hiding. Pen chose to revert back to her nomadic life after the death of her family. Life was always safer that way, away from people. Now she’s been caught and odd occurrences have been happening in Ichorisis. People are surviving horrible injuries and illnesses that they shouldn’t be. Now that Pen is under custody of one of the several kings she’s been sent to fix the problem. Whether she wants to or not.
Dagger and Scythe
October 1st, 2019
Dagger and Scythe spent good decades together, stalking human prey, and taking out targets the god Maniodes deems worthy. With one hundred years under her belt, Scythe is comfortable, and takes incredible enjoyment in her skill. Dagger is new to the undead order, but he’s relishing in the work. The two of them together set beautiful bonfires, with the occasional corpse inside.
After enjoying each other’s time a little too much, an entire village burns. Maniodes is sick of their rogue behavior. Regular punishments haven’t worked on either of them, so he tries something new: marrying them to each other. To keep each other in line or they’ll both end up properly dead.
Both have grown tired of the god’s odd punishments and lazy control, taking over his throne, and the land of the dead, should fix things.
Her scythe is perfectly curved for slicing.
His dagger, made of folded steel, is ready to strike.
But are they strong enough to take on gods?
Grief of the Undying
Time flowed around the Blood Warrior, Pen, who hardly noticed. Stuck in her own personal hell, stories of her powers spread, while she remained hidden.
Now a city that she has wronged is threatened by the Fang of Stymphalia, a serial killer stalking the night, leaving the corpses of women in alleyways with their throats torn out. Queen Aethra expects Pen to find this killer and save her people as penance.
Pen wants to right her wrongs and restore the Warriors’ honor, but she couldn’t protect her own family. How is she meant to save an entire city?
As she hunts the madman, she’s under more than the watchful eye of the queen. A stranger follows her in the shadows, and the gods themselves are watching Pen. She must find the Fang before more blood is spilled, discover the identity of her stalker, and hope the gods will leave her be.
